On Saturday, 21 June 2026, you become part of something historic. The inaugural Parramatta Half Marathon will see 8,000 runners take to the streets, parks, and river foreshore paths of one of Australia's great cities.
Organised by 180 Cadence and proudly supported by our host city, the City of Parramatta, this is more than a race. It is your chance to be a founding runner of the Parramatta Half Marathon

This world-class course showcases the best of Parramatta Park, the CBD, River Foreshore, before delivering runners to an unforgettable rockstar finish inside CommBank Stadium!

The Parramatta Half Marathon Expo is your first taste of race weekend. Held at CommBank Stadium across Friday and Saturday, it is two days of running culture, partner activations, and pre-race energy inside one of Australia's most iconic sporting venues.
Expo dates and times:
Friday 20 June: 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday 21 June: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friends and family welcomed.

All runners must collect their bib at the Running Expo at CommBank Stadium. Bibs will not be mailed out and no race bibs can be collected on race morning.
The Expo is open across Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June. Head to the bib collection area inside the stadium concourse, have your QR code and bib number ready, and you are good to go.
If you can’t make it yourself, no problem. A friend or family member can collect your bib on your behalf. They will just need your QR code and bib number, both of which will be emailed to YOU during race week.

Bib numbers will be allocated during race week and sent to you via email. Your bib number will also appear on the official live results list. A link will be sent during race week.

Your race shirt will be available for collection at the Running Expo alongside your bib.

Major road closures will be in place from 3:00 am in the City of Parramatta. Roads will start to progressively reopen from 10:30 am with all roads reopened by 12:00 pm (midday).
Sections of the Parramatta Shared Path & Cycleway will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists from 5:30 am until 11:00 am.
Closures may affect how you travel.

Special event clearway parking restrictions will be in effect on various roads throughout the City of Parramatta between 1:00 am and 12:00 pm on Sunday 21 June.
These clearways are in place to clear the course of vehicles for participant safety.
Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.

Public transport is the best way to get to and from the Parramatta Half Marathon. Your race bib doubles as your travel pass, giving you free public transport on race day.
Driving is not encouraged. Major road closures are in effect across the City of Parramatta from 3:00am on race morning, and parking in and around the course is extremely limited.
Runners should aim to arrive at least 90 minutes before their wave start time. CommBank Stadium opens at 5:00am, with toilets, coffee, and food all available inside the stadium.

Your Parramatta Half Marathon race bib gives you free public transport on race day. This includes transport post race. Additional bus services will be running from Castle Hill to Parramatta on race morning to help runners get to the start line.

Staying in Parramatta means being close to everything that matters. With accommodation near key precincts, transport and race day activities, it’s an easy base for the race weekend and beyond.

There’s no shortage of places to eat in Parramatta. From casual cafés to bold global flavours, the city offers places to refuel, celebrate and linger a little longer.

Entry into CommBank Stadium is available to everyone for free.

Start / Finish: Toilets are available at the start line and finish line inside CommBank Stadium.
On-Course: Toilets on course are found at every aid station along the course.

Bag Drop is available on race day inside of CommBank Stadium. Your bag must have your bib tag applied and must not exceed the size of a normal shopping bag.

The Aid Stations are powered by PURE Sports Nutrition. At each aid station you'll find PURE Gels, PURE Electrolytes and water.
Aid stations are found at the following points:
5 km - George Street
12 km - MacArthur Street
15 km - Parramatta Park
Toilets + medical assistance are also found at each aid station

Medical coverage is in place throughout the entire event, from the start line through to the finish precinct at CommBank Stadium. If you require assistance at any point on the course, alert the nearest marshal or aid station crew and help will be on its way.

All runners must enter CommBank Stadium via Gate B and exit via Gate A. Signage will be in place on race day to guide you in. Entry is free for everyone, including non registered runners.

CommBank Stadium opens at 5:30am on race morning. Toilets, bag drop, coffee, and food are all available inside the stadium.

You finish the Parramatta Half Marathon on the field of play inside CommBank Stadium. It is a moment reserved for registered runners only. Unregistered participants cannot cross the finish line, and we ask that you respect this for the integrity of the event and the safety of all finishers.
Friends, family, and supporters are welcome inside the stadium free of charge. Please note there are runner-only sections including the finish straight, finish line, and medal collection area.
Dogs are not permitted inside CommBank Stadium, with the exception of registered support and guide dogs.
Food and beverages are available in the finish precinct, including alcoholic drinks. We encourage runners to stick around at the stadium and celebrate long after they have finished the race.
